Summarization is very fun thing. You can save a lot of time by reading book summaries especially when understanding general ide is good enough. I wanted to check if I could achieve good book summarization using open-source models from Huggingface. I took a model which was capable of handling large inputs and was trained on book summarization task. pszemraj/long-t5-tglobal-base-16384-book-summary
I have recently read this book: Design Your Perfect House. But it’s hard to remember everything so I had to revisit chapters to remind things. I had an idea to create a book summary which might help me to review this book quickly. It took me just 3-4hrs from book summary generation to writing this blog. Let’s see how the results look:
